Lake Como once again became the ultimate backdrop for the most elegant automotive gathering of the year. The 2025 Car Weekend brought together the timeless charm of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este with the modern, avant-garde spirit of Fuori Concorso, creating a two-day celebration of design, culture, and the love of cars.

At Villa d’Este, legendary classics like the Alfa Romeo 8C, Bugatti Type 57, and Ferrari 250 GT took center stage. Judges — including collectors, designers, and automotive historians — honored craftsmanship, authenticity, and design evolution. The setting? None other than the lush gardens of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este, a place that seems tailor-made for showcasing automotive art.

Fuori Concorso, on the other hand, looked toward the future and the philosophy behind car culture. This year’s theme, “Turbo,” featured everything from rare Porsche 959s to one-off concept cars and cutting-edge hypercars. Here, conversations around design, innovation, and the future of mobility were just as important as the cars themselves.

But what makes this weekend in Lake Como truly magical isn’t just the automobiles — it’s the atmosphere. Strolling between a Rolls-Royce and a Lancia Stratos, with the Alps in the distance and the lake reflecting it all, is a rare blend of pleasure, culture, and aesthetic perfection.
