After years of writing editorials about experiences and values, I want to say something to all of you who are listening to me
Our values are damaged the moment we let anger take control
Some of my friends, who see me as someone who’s always calm and cool, might be surprised to hear this
The truth is that although I remain remarkably calm in difficult and even dangerous situations, recently I lost my calm because of overwhelming anger and reacted in a way that was completely unacceptable
It has happened to me before in life, and every single time I’ve only ended up losing
Most of all, you’re losing your self-respect
The confidence that comes from staying calm under pressure is one of life’s greatest strengths but an outburst of anger, on the other hand, only destroys – it leaves behind discomfort, pain, and regret
Understanding a problem is the first step, but the most important one is making the effort to solve it
Self-reflection and self-improvement
