Montreux Jazz Festival 2026: Celebrating 60 Years of Musical Excellence

The Montreux Jazz Festival celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, taking place from July 3 to July 18, 2026, on the shores of Lake Geneva as it returns to the fully renovated Montreux Music & Convention Centre. This landmark edition presents one of the festival’s most diverse programs to date, bringing together jazz, pop, rock, soul, hip-hop, and electronic music while remaining true to the spirit that has defined the event for six decades.

This year’s lineup features some of the biggest names in contemporary music. Sting, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, John Legend, Lewis Capaldi, Deep Purple, Moby, The Roots, James Taylor, Van Morrison, RAYE, PinkPantheress, Conan Gray, Vulfpeck, Gregory Porter, Zara Larsson, Loyle Carner, and many more take the stage, creating a program that connects generations, cultures, and musical genres.

Alongside its headline concerts, the festival continues to spotlight emerging talent through the Montreux Jazz Lab, Spotlight Sessions, and its extensive free program. Daily DJ sets, jam sessions, live performances, and special collaborations transform the entire town of Montreux into an open-air celebration of music for more than two weeks.

Since its founding in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has continuously evolved, welcoming artists who shape the global music landscape while expanding far beyond traditional jazz. Its 60th edition continues that legacy by presenting a lineup where legendary performers and exciting new voices share the same stages.

With more than 700 concerts, performances, and cultural events, Montreux Jazz Festival 2026 once again confirms its reputation as one of the world’s leading music festivals, offering an unforgettable celebration of music, creativity, and the spectacular scenery of the Swiss Riviera.
