Analogue Life
[ssba]

When I travel, the only thing I really don’t like is modern rental cars—regardless of category or company

The moment you step into one, you’re greeted with some annoying glin-glon sound

They’re full of plastic, flashing lights, colors, and useless information.

I would love to see a rental company that offers classic cars instead

I was an analogue boy—and I still am

An analogue lifestyle means having the time and passion to do things, and to truly enjoy them

The digital world moves so fast that time just slips away

Very young people, born into the digital era, can’t understand the feeling…

The feeling of reading a paper magazine

The feeling of vinyl

The simple, sexy sound of a V8 in a classic Defender—not the silent hum of an electric motor

The elegance of a classic watch—not one that measures your blood pressure and counts your steps

The ritual of enjoying a rare cigar—not puffing on an electronic stick like a robot.

I’m sure some unsexy people are out there right now developing an app that lets you kiss someone virtually just by licking your phone

Thank God I’m an old-school man

And I’m so happy to be an analogue man.
