Never Sell Yellow

Quentin LeBlond’s 1973 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 is one of those cars that go far beyond simple ownership. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro during his time at Bertone, the GTV blends the elegant proportions of the ’60s with mechanical features that remain a joy even today: a 2.0L twin-cam engine, a five-speed manual gearbox, and rear-wheel drive. It’s not the fastest or the most impressive on paper, but it has character, sharp response, and that unique feeling only a classic Alfa can deliver.

For Quentin, the connection with the car is deeply personal. It’s been with him for years—starting from his father’s garage and now part of his own family life. The GTV isn’t a display piece; it’s a working machine, a companion, and a source of countless stories. Despite the occasional trouble—from wear and tear to the occasional small fire due to aging electrics—he never considered letting it go. It’s part of a daily ritual built on respect: from the way he starts it, to the lessons he shares with his kids when they climb inside.

“Never Sell Yellow” isn’t just a reference to the paint. It’s a mindset—about holding onto what carries real value, meaning, and connection. Some things only grow richer with time. And when you keep them alive, they become family.
