The new edition of Ralph Lauren’s “American Western” series blends frontier spirit with fine watchmaking. The cushion-shaped case, first introduced in 2018, is refreshed for 2025 with options in rose-gold or sterling silver and features a striking turquoise dial — personally selected by Ralph Lauren for the ideal shade.
The 42 mm hand-engraved case bears floral motifs and zig-zag lines, creating a crafted, patinated look that evokes the artisanal leatherwork of the American West. The strap — crafted from vachetta leather in Texas in a “concho-belt” style — completes the vintage Americana aesthetic.
Inside sits the exclusive Calibre RL514 automatic movement made by Piaget for Ralph Lauren, with 26 jewels, a 40-hour power reserve and refined decorations including Côtes de Genève and perlage finishes.
The collection embodies a Western ethos: honesty, endurance and timeless appeal — as the designer himself stated: “The spirit of Western style resonates with a rugged elegance and authenticity.”
