From June 26th to 28th, 2025, the Spetses Classic Yacht Regatta returns, promising three days of elegance, sailing, and sea-born adrenaline on the most cosmopolitan island of the Saronic Gulf. It is the largest classic yacht event in Greece and one of the most important in the Mediterranean, held under the auspices of the Yacht Club of Greece, with the valued support of the Municipality of Spetses.

More than 75 traditional and classic wooden boats – schooners, lateens, caiques, and vessels steeped in history – will flood the island, racing across multiple categories such as Classic A/B, Traditional Dinghies, Open Boats, and Contemporary Classics. With over 400 sailors from Greece and abroad, the Regatta transforms the island into a living museum of maritime heritage, where every vessel honors the art of wooden boatbuilding.

Beyond its competitive spirit, the event is a true celebration. Spectators can enjoy the races for free from the shoreline, while events, presentations, and glamorous evening gatherings light up the Old Harbor. The festivities culminate in Sunday’s award ceremony, wrapping up a weekend filled with sea breeze, sporting energy, and Greek summer at its finest.
