The collaboration between the renowned bootmaker Lucchese and designer Nick Fouquet returns with their second collection for Fall 2024, titled “The Ballad of Big Velvet.” This collection is a romantic journey into the heart of the American West, paying tribute to the landscapes, freedom, and adventures that define the western style.

The collection features men’s boots such as the Hawk Moon, inspired by the poetry of Americana, and the Barking Irons, which pay homage to the 19th-century revolver, crafted in rich shades of brown with crocodile leather textures. The Desert Sands boots reinterpret the allure of an untamed western landscape, transforming that raw beauty into wearable form.

It also includes three western hats — the Palomino Holy Paw, Outer Range, and Highway 89 — that embody Fouquet’s signature aesthetic. Each piece evokes the spirit of the open road, blending the romance of vintage western wear with a refined touch that seamlessly aligns with Lucchese’s craftsmanship.

With “The Ballad of Big Velvet,” Nick Fouquet and Lucchese offer a modern interpretation of western style, while honoring the tradition and authenticity that define them both.
