The Palais Bulles, a 1200 square meter “gem” in Théoule-sur-Mer overlooking the Bay of Cannes, was built in 1975 and completed in 1989. Created by Hungarian architect Antti Lovag, this summer residence was built for a prominent industrialist and was later bought by fashion designer Pierre Cardin. With the help of artists Patrice Breteau, Jerome Tisserand, Daniel You, François Chauvin and Gerard Cloarec, the house was redesigned from the beginning. The property is surrounded by vast gardens on various levels, with a reception hall, a panoramic lounge, 10 bedrooms, several swimming pools both large and small, and an open-air amphitheater that seats 500. The 70’s aesthetic of the architecture is reflected by curves that have replaced almost every square corner, with large round portholes and intense blushing shades that reflect the Mediterranean sun. The “lunar” setting amidst the blue water and green gardens creates a true state-of-the-art home over the Bay of Cannes. The second renovation was completed in 2016 by French award-winning architect Odile Decq.
