Tuscany’s convivial spirit

The timeless charm of Tuscany can be found in the heart of London at Cantinetta Antinori, on Harriet Street in Knightsbridge, just steps away from the bustling Sloane Street.

The gastronomic heritage of the Antinori family, dating back to 1385, is housed in a historic three-storey building. Decorated with family heirlooms and designed by Archflorence, it echoes the original Cantinetta in Florence — a landmark of the city since 1957.

At its core lies a profound philosophy of hospitality rooted in the Tuscan spirit. “Driven by the desire to offer guests authentic Tuscan hospitality,” as Allegra Antinori notes, the restaurant pairs exceptional wines from the Antinori estate — such as the legendary Tignanello — with dishes that honour tradition while embracing innovation. Guests can enjoy ribollita soup or bistecca alla fiorentina with contemporary touches, all served to the sounds of 1960s melodies and live jazz on weekends.

This fusion of ancient Tuscan roots and modern refinement transforms Cantinetta into a culinary destination in London, where every meal carries the essence of an escape to the sun-drenched hills of Chianti.
