The Italian, Swiss and Austrian Alps hosted 35 crews from around the world on Coppa delle Alpi, March 9-12, in a race that exceeds 1000 km and crosses 14 alpine passes.<\/p>\n

On the first day, cars started and finished in Brescia, on an unusual route through the mountains of the Italian city and along Lake Iseo. The second day started also from Brescia, where the cars, passing on the west side of Lake Garda, headed to the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park, a UNESCO heritage site, and turned off their engines in the Italian city of Bormio, one of the many places where The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held. The third day belonged exclusively to Switzerland and Austria. The cars arrived at St. Moritz, and from there they headed to the Austrian village of Seefeld in Tyrol. On the last day, crossing the Brenner Alpine Pass and the Italian border, drivers arrived in the Italian city of Bressanone, where the race was completed and the prizes were awarded.<\/p>\n

After 4 days of racing and more than 1000 kilometers, Gianmario Fontanella and Anna Maria Covelli with a 1939 Lancia Aprilia won the race and the duo, Francesco and Giuseppe Di Pietra, the second place with a 1938 Fiat 508C.<\/p>\n
