The detective stories starring Alain Delon are among them. Deux hommes dans la ville, directed by Jos\u00e9 Giovanni, is a French-Italian drama film from 1973, in which Delon is accompanied by the iconic Jean Gabin. The plot unfolds when an ex-convict for bank robbery &#8211; played by Delon &#8211; is released from prison two years early from the 12 years he was sentenced and tries to make a new start with the help of a social worker he met in prison &#8211; played by Gabin. He gets a job in a printing shop and has an affair with a bank clerk with whom he starts living with.
