For the hearty adventurers seeking adventure in harsh weather and inaccessible places, California-based outfitter White Duck Outdoors has built a classic-style tent with traditional materials, designed for people who are looking for more of a different camping experience. Each of these tents is made from 8.5 oz. Army Duck 100% cotton canvas, which has been waterproofed and treated to make the tent UV resistant. It features a sewn-in waterproof groundsheet, four roof vents for additional ventilation, heavy-duty zippers throughout and lightweight aluminum poles at the entrance and center of the tent. Each tent comes with a tool kit that includes pegs, pins, the rain cap and a rubber mallet. The explosion in popularity of glamping worked in White Duck Outdoors’ favor, with many companies following suit by designing safari-style tents. Over the years the company has expanded its product line to include a wider range of outdoor equipment and accessories, such as tarps, tents, crickets and tent stoves.
