Designers Yashar Yektajo and Ruben Valdez borrowed the design line of “natural desert movement” to give form to Paradero, a hotel nestled in Todos Santos, Mexico. Set amidst farmland and the Sierra Laguna mountains on the southwest coast of the Baja Peninsula. Through the sandy landscape of Todos Santos and the winds, the design features of the building’s exterior were shaped. Connected to the wild landscape that surrounds it, it seems to become one with the gusts of the desert.<\/p>\n

The Paradero Hotel consists of a series of undulating concrete structures in a sandy hue that blends into the ground. Surrounded by palm trees and cacti to offer guests an authentic experience of the desert flora. The paths are made with sand to encourage visitors to walk barefoot. Hotel rooms include garden suites, with hammocks and unobstructed views of the vast landscape.<\/p>\n
