The twin pillars of time and travel hold equal fascination for Swiss brand Vacheron Constantin, which has chosen to mark a long and illustrious history of exploring the limits of both with a new watch collection. It’s a journey that can be traced back to the company’s beginnings in the 18th century, when the grandson of founder Jean-Marc Vacheron, Jacques-Barth\u00e9lemi Vacheron, expressed a strong interest in expanding beyond the Geneva-based company’s borders, to the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.<\/p>\n

Consisting of unique timepieces made by Vacheron Constantin’s Les Cabinotiers creation-to-order department, Voyages builds on this history by bringing together some fine m\u00e9tiers d’art production techniques. Inspired by a range of international references, the dials include a Haussmannian motif inspired by the city of Paris, an engraving technique representing the Old Summer Palace in Beijing and an art deco motif inspired by the Chrysler Building in New York.<\/p>\n
