Seventy-plus years have passed since the Jaguar C-type was at the pinnacle of sports car racing. Those Jaguars dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the 1950s, equipped with pioneering disc brakes, creating a legend that lives on to this day.<\/p>\n

That era inspires and 70 years on, two exclusive ’70-Edition’ Jaguar C-type Continuations have been unveiled as one of a kind that moves technologically into today but carries a significant burden of glory and legend.\"\"Each is evocatively colored and embellished, with handcrafted silver enamel badges from partner jeweler Deakin & Francis, along with stitching and embroidery. A special key case and dashboard plate have been made from a 1953 C type fuel tank also by Deakin & Francis for each \u201970 Edition. The first of these versions is finished in a unique Verbier Silver color with Cranberry Red leather interior. This never-to-be-repeated combination is inspired by the C-type Platinum Anniversary. The second \u201970 Edition is a tribute to the winning C-type XKC 051 and is finished in British Racing Green Works Team livery with Suede Green leather interior. Production of the \u201970 Edition Continuations took place in the state-of-the-art Classic Works facility, with each vehicle requiring 3,000 hours of expert craftsmanship. Each cost \u00a31.5m.<\/p>\n
