Today, under the creative direction of Demna, the house of Balenciaga explores the &#8220;cutting-edge&#8221; through fashion.<\/p>\n<p>A new exhibit, &#8220;Crist\u00f3bal Balenciaga: Master of Tailoring&#8221; at the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film in Atlanta, Georgia, takes us back to the house&#8217;s roots, when a 22-year-old Crist\u00f3bal Balenciaga established his name in Saint Sebastian, Spain.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-222118 img-responsive img-center\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Y6vYqUBzCCZ5ZexbBzAE9j-768-80.jp_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Y6vYqUBzCCZ5ZexbBzAE9j-768-80.jp_.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Y6vYqUBzCCZ5ZexbBzAE9j-768-80.jp_-240x300.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The exhibition recreates the interior of the Balenciaga archives and salon in Paris, and the project is a collaboration between the museum, the Balenciaga archives, and the Fondation Azzedine Ala\u00efa, which currently houses around 600 Balenciaga garments, while the Parodi Costume Collection based in Miami has also contributed several items to the exhibition. As such, the exhibition is curated by Ga\u00ebl Mamine, Head of Collections at Fondation Azzedine Ala\u00efa, Gaspard de Mass\u00e9, Head of Archives at Balenciaga and Gonzalo Parodi, Director of the Parodi Costume Collection.
