Like nearly everything in car culture, the pair’s hot-rodded Porsches took over Southern California and subsequently the world, inspiring everyone from Singer to Japan’s RWB. The car here is a 1967 911S built by the Emorys in 1991 and was raced all over the West Coast before the current owner acquired it in 2022. The car sports a twin-plug 2.8-liter flat-six with Weber carbs, a five-speed transmission, fiberglass bodywork, and period-correct parts like a 911R exhaust system. The car is fully kitted for racing, with a rollbar and fire suppression system.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-222477 img-responsive img-center\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/kentrikh-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1940\" height=\"1320\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/kentrikh-2.jpeg 1940w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/kentrikh-2-300x204.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/kentrikh-2-1024x697.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/kentrikh-2-768x523.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/kentrikh-2-1536x1045.jpeg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1940px) 100vw, 1940px\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-222481 img-responsive img-center\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/porsche-911r-4-thumb-960xauto-170444.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/porsche-911r-4-thumb-960xauto-170444.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/porsche-911r-4-thumb-960xauto-170444-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/porsche-911r-4-thumb-960xauto-170444-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-222479 img-responsive img-center\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/porsche-911r-1-thumb-960xauto-170442.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/porsche-911r-1-thumb-960xauto-170442.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/porsche-911r-1-thumb-960xauto-170442-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/porsche-911r-1-thumb-960xauto-170442-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-222475 img-responsive img-center\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/1967-porsche-911s-emory-outlaw-8.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"587\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/1967-porsche-911s-emory-outlaw-8.jpeg 587w, https:\/\/www.mancodestyle.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/1967-porsche-911s-emory-outlaw-8-300x256.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 587px) 100vw, 587px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
The term Outlaw Porsche originated with Gary and Rod Emory and their Parts Obsolete shop in LA.
