The lounge and Basilii restaurant are located in the old house and pay homage to the prominent family that once lived on the estate. Genteel Alentejo country living is brought to the fore through the mix of handpicked vintage furniture and wood textures against whitewashed walls. Erected from the remains of a house dating from 1338, the hotel maintains architectural allegiance to the region. The new structures have been framed in the image of the existing architecture with concrete shells, masonry walls, and concrete slab roofs; yet they maintain a contemporary language.<\/p>\n

Savor fresh and aromatic Alentejo flavors with locally produced artisanal wines in the shadow of Roman ruins. Torre de Palma\u2019s hallmark is its boutique winery, which symbolizes the estate\u2019s wine culture. Using techniques and elements close to the terroir, the hotel\u2019s spa therapists induce a sublime sense of wellness and rejuvenation through an array of salubrious treatments that include vinotherapy, massage, exfoliation, and aromatherapy.
