The Porsche 911 Backdate is the perfect blend of classic charm and modern performance. Spearheaded by Marcel van der Velden, the Managing Partner of Sportwagen Zentrum Niederrhein, this project reimagines a 1991 Porsche 964 Targa into a unique 911 Targa R. Working with Vehicle Experts, they fused vintage 911 ST styling with contemporary upgrades, creating a car that looks retro but drives like a modern Porsche.<\/p>\n

The Targa R sports widened ST-style wheel arches, a sleek graphite gray finish (color code 7B2), and chrome accents on the air intakes, windshield trim, and headlight rings. LED headlights and a GT3-inspired stainless steel exhaust system with valve control add a modern edge. Inside, Recaro seats wrapped in black leather with Pepita s balance comfort and sportiness. Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) provides modern navigation and connectivity without disrupting the vintage vibe.<\/p>\n
