La Muna in Aspen (Red Mountain), designed by Oppenheim Architecture, is a complete renovation of an old chalet that had undergone decades of clumsy interventions.<\/p>\n

Guided by the philosophy of wabi-sabi, the renovation reveals the beauty of wear and imperfections through materials like reclaimed wood, local stone, and weathered metal.<\/p>\n

Respecting the environment, the design keeps its ecological footprint minimal: the house is partially powered by solar energy, and large glazed panels blur the boundaries between inside and out, strengthening its connection with nature.<\/p>\n

The goal is a profound experience: windows frame the landscape, inviting inhabitants to relax – whether reading by the fireplace or listening to wildlife from the outdoor hot tub.<\/p>\n
