As my friend Christos Zambounis says, we are resistance fighters. I will never forget a trip to Jordan with Christos, where he injured himself trying to get into his room through the balcony, and I was wheeling him around Cairo in a wheelchair while we smoked cigars. When we saw a NO SMOKING sign in the hotel, we politely asked the receptionist, \u201cCan we smoke?\u201d His disarming reply: \u201cOf course, sir.\u201d<\/p>\n
