I started skiing in my childhood, when my parents enrolled me in the Mountaineering Club
Every year I would ride those old lifts\u2014the metal chairlifts\u2014and enjoy the magical silence of the Greek mountains
\nI even took part in a few competitions, though I never truly stood out, probably because I was impatient and careless, often forgetting a few gates in slalom
\nAfter many experiences in almost all of Greece\u2019s ski resorts –
Parnassos, Velouchi, Pelion, Tria Pente Pigadia, Vorras, Seli, Lailias, Mainalo –
during my student years I got my first taste of the Alps.
\nDifferent slopes, a different story, a different style
That\u2019s where a long-term relationship with these places began: Austria, France, Italy, Switzerland
\nSo, I would like to present my favorite skiing destinations:
\nIn Austria, I single out Lech and Seefeld
In France, Chamonix\u2013Mont Blanc
In Italy, Cortina d\u2019Ampezzo
In Switzerland, St. Moritz and Zermatt
\nSkiing is not just a sport – but a way of life<\/p>\n
