With the new Seven HWM Edition, the British manufacturer introduces a limited model that pays tribute to the historic racing team Hersham and Walton Motors (HWM), which played a notable role in motorsport during the 1950s.<\/p>\n

The design draws inspiration from the legendary 1951 HWM-Alta, a single-seater closely associated with the early racing career of Sir Stirling Moss in Formula 1. The Seven HWM Edition features the distinctive HWM Green paint, special side vents inspired by the historic race car, and Retro Grey details that emphasize its vintage character.<\/p>\n

Inside, Caterham maintains the classic mechanical spirit of the Seven. A hand-turned aluminum dashboard is paired with traditional Smiths gauges and a wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel, creating a cockpit reminiscent of the racing aesthetics of the 1950s and 1960s.<\/p>\n

Power comes from a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter Duratec four-cylinder engine producing 210 horsepower, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. Combined with the car\u2019s extremely low weight, this setup enables a 0\u201360 mph time of around 3.8 seconds and delivers one of the purest driving experiences in the sports car world.<\/p>\n

Production will be limited to just 19 units, making the Seven HWM Edition not simply a special version of the model, but a modern collector\u2019s piece that connects Caterham\u2019s present with its rich racing heritage.<\/p>\n
