The rare art cars of Keith Haring return to New York City, carrying the energy of a time when art was born in the streets. In Keith Haring: On the Street, two of his most iconic works \u2014 a painted 1963 Buick Special and a Land Rover Defender – are shown together in Manhattan for the first time.<\/p>\n

Set inside a former carriage house in the West Village, transformed into a gallery by CART Department, the space feels more like an urban shelter than a traditional white cube. Here, the cars are not treated as static objects, but as living traces of a city that once served as Haring\u2019s creative laboratory.<\/p>\n

The exhibition coincides with the release of Keith Haring in 3D, shedding light on a lesser-known dimension of his work – where art moves beyond walls and takes on form, motion, and presence in public space: A reminder that, for Haring, art was never meant to stand still.<\/p>\n
