BRABUS Shadow 1000 XC: Power Meets Precision

# BRABUS Shadow 1000 XC: Power Meets Precision

BRABUS brings the familiar aesthetic of its high-performance automobiles to the water with the Shadow 1000 XC Cross Cabin, a 38-foot powerboat combining extreme performance, advanced technology and the German marque’s unmistakable design language.

Powered by twin Mercury Racing 500R V8 outboard engines, the boat delivers a combined 1,000 horsepower and reaches a top speed of up to 60 knots. The Shadow 1000 represents the most powerful and uncompromising interpretation of the new BRABUS 38 range, bringing the performance DNA that has defined the brand’s supercars to the water.

The design follows BRABUS’s distinctive Black Ops aesthetic. Dark surfaces, exposed carbon-fiber elements and the signature red stripe running along the exterior create an unmistakably dynamic silhouette. Gullwing doors, one of the model’s most distinctive features, add another direct reference to the design philosophy of the brand’s automobiles.

Inside, the BRABUS Masterpiece philosophy is carried into the marine environment. Premium quilted leather, carbon details and Moonstone upholstery are combined with a fully equipped cockpit, where technology becomes an integral part of the design. Two large 16-inch Simrad displays serve as the central navigation and control system, while the available navigation package adds radar, night vision, cameras and advanced sonar technology.

The technology is designed to make the Shadow 1000 equally engaging at high speed and during more relaxed cruising. Joystick-controlled trim tabs, a bow thruster with JPO integration and an advanced steering system provide precise handling, while BRABUS Premium Audio, RGB lighting, underwater lights and air conditioning complete the onboard experience.

Despite its performance credentials, the Shadow 1000 XC has been conceived as a highly versatile day boat. The aft deck can be configured according to different uses, with options including an open deck, wet bar, additional seating and activity platforms, while an optional aft cabin can accommodate up to four people. The boat can carry up to 12 passengers, with sleeping accommodation for two in its standard configuration.

Measuring 11.6 metres in length and weighing approximately 5,400 kilograms before engines and optional equipment, the Shadow 1000 XC features a twin-stepped 20-degree V “Sharp Entry Hull” designed around speed and stability. BRABUS places equal emphasis on customisation, allowing owners to configure the boat’s appearance, materials and layout according to their individual lifestyle.
