Protection and aesthetics come together in Hedon’s new Heroine Racer 2.0 Olivea, a motorcycle helmet that redefines the idea of riding gear through a more refined and timeless approach. Part of the brand’s 2026 The Art of Protection collection, the model combines Hedon’s distinctive British vintage aesthetic with modern safety technology and high-quality materials.
The Olivea immediately stands out for its distinctive metallic olive finish, inspired by the rich tones of aged oil paintings. The glossy metallic shell gains depth as it catches the light, while brown leather trim and brass detailing introduce a warmer, more sophisticated character. The result feels closer to a design object than a conventional piece of protective equipment.
Behind the aesthetic lies a completely re-engineered 2.0 shell, constructed from a composite of glass fibre and carbon fibre. The design creates a low-profile and remarkably lightweight silhouette, avoiding the bulky appearance often associated with retro-style helmets. Depending on the size, the helmet weighs from approximately 1,200 grams.
Inside, Hedon uses its Hed Armour 360° cushioning system, lined with Merlin antibacterial fabric and finished with leather accents. A discreet three-channel ventilation system is integrated into the shell, while the helmet is secured with a classic Double-D ring buckle crafted from solid brass, preserving the mechanical character that defines the overall design.
