A restored hunter

Synonymous with pure off-road escapism, the Bronco proved to the public from its very first year on the road (1966) that no rough road could stand in its way. Over the years Ford has enriched its range, with the Bronco Raptor and Bronco Everglades being the latest versions. Yet a classic first-generation Jeep that has nevertheless received a complete overhaul remains particularly appealing. California-based Kindred Motorworks recently introduced the impressive Bronco Trail Edition, retaining the classic body aesthetic but the upgrade to almost every other part is evident. The engine is definitely not from Ford as a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 producing 460 horsepower powers the heavy off-road vehicle. Kindred Motorworks is also developing an electric drivetrain as an alternative option. The tuning company is currently accepting pre-orders on its website, with prices starting at $169,000 and production starting in 2024.
