The B&E Goulandris Foundation presents Belle Époque, an artistic journey into late 19th-century Paris, when art began to take over the streets and become part of everyday life.
Featuring approximately 90 works by 15 significant artists, including Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Alfons Mucha, Pierre Bonnard, and Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen, the exhibition explores the artistic poster as a new form of creative expression. Through vivid colours, bold compositions, and imagery inspired by cabarets, theatres, and urban entertainment, these works capture the energy of a city undergoing transformation.
