LV métiers d’art wristwatches

In commemorating the 10th anniversary of Louis Vuitton’s Escale model, the French luxury Maison has unveiled a quartet of métiers d’art wristwatches to celebrate this milestone. The new Escale models come in the form of time-only pieces, attired in either 18-carat polished rose gold or platinum with a reworked watchcase that measures 39mm in width.

All variants are outfitted with dotted chapter rings and quarter-hour markers in a color that echoes its case materiality. In particular, the quarter indices are specifically designed to resemble the signature brass brackets and corners as seen on LV trunks.

At the heart of the new Escale, the LFT023 self-winding mechanical caliber beats at an astounding frequency of 28,800 hourly vibrations. This movement is also granted by the Geneva Chronometric Observatory as a certified chronometer, complete with a 50-hour power reserve.

Prices go between $26,400 – $168,000 USD, the four new Escale timepieces are currently open for inquiry through Louis Vuitton.
