The surf Atlas

Drawing on images from Africa, Asia, Europe, Central, South and North America, Oceania and the Pacific, Surf Atlas is a collection of the world’s most unique, unusual and iconic surf destinations. Readers of the book can mentally transport themselves under the northern lights in Norway or warm up on the waves of Ghana. Surf Atlas celebrates the exploration, adventure and dizzying diversity of the surfing world. The book is published by Gestalten, with writing and editing by photographer and writer Luke Gartside, who is a former editor of Wavelength Magazine, Europe’s longest-running surfing title.
