Wellness, Design and Caribbean Escape

Nômade Tulum has established itself as one of the Riviera Maya’s most recognizable boutique resorts, combining beachfront hospitality, wellness experiences, and a design philosophy inspired by nature and the nomadic lifestyle.

Nômade Tulum, located on the southern stretch of Tulum’s coastline, the property sits between dense jungle and the Caribbean Sea, creating a strong connection with its natural surroundings.

Opened in 2013, the resort was developed around a concept that blends luxury hospitality, sustainability, and personal well-being. Its architecture relies on natural materials, wood, stone, and organic forms that integrate seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. Throughout the property, bohemian aesthetics are combined with influences from Mexico, the Mediterranean, and North Africa.

The resort’s 99 rooms and suites include jungle bungalows, beachfront accommodations, and the distinctive Treehouses positioned high among the treetops. Interiors follow a minimalist approach with natural textures, handcrafted details, and a close relationship with the outdoors through open-air layouts and outdoor bathrooms.

Wellness remains at the heart of the Nômade experience. Daily programs include yoga, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, and traditional temazcal ceremonies, while the Yäan Healing Sanctuary offers treatments inspired by the region’s ancestral healing traditions.

Food and dining play an equally important role within the resort. Macondo focuses on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences, La Popular highlights local ingredients and fresh seafood, while Kuu has gained recognition for its omakase experience and refined Japanese culinary approach.
