Casa de Los Leones
[ssba]

Casa de Los Leones is the new cultural initiative by Clase Azul México, housed in a restored historic mansion in Polanco, Mexico City. The project marks the brand’s move into hospitality through a concept that blends contemporary art, design and Mexican craftsmanship, positioning the space as a platform for creative collaboration and cultural expression.

The architectural restoration preserves the building’s original features while introducing custom furniture, ceramics, textiles and artworks that feel organically embedded in the environment. Ceramics play a central role throughout, reflecting both Mexico’s material traditions and Clase Azul’s connection to handcrafted processes.

Artworks are thoughtfully integrated across the house – from the lobby’s rotating installation program featuring artists like Amador Montes, to the lounge, bar and private rooms. Highlights include a textile installation made from agave fibers by Beatriz Morales and contributions by Raul de la Cerda, reinforcing the dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation.

Casa de Los Leones also hosts “Taste of Time,” a guided tequila pairing experience, along with a private floor dedicated to collectors, featuring a library and intimate tasting spaces. Open by appointment only, the venue functions as a curated destination for culture, design and experiential hospitality.
