The beauty of Tuscany
[ssba]

Classic landscapes taken from Renaissance paintings, enchanting medieval villages, rows of cypresses, vineyards and olive trees meet iconic creations by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo on a journey that awakens all the senses. If you haven’t already understood, the new book “Tuscany Marvel” by the publishing house Assouline takes us to Tuscany. Where art and architecture from the Etruscan era sprouted and flourished in its roots. With hills full of wheat and colorful olive groves that feed Tuscan cuisine and are harmoniously surrounded by villas built by the Medici family. To the south, the Tyrrhenian Sea hugs the coast of the island of Elba, in the historical place that was associated with the exile of Emperor Napoleon. Picturesque villages and towns with a historical background are scattered throughout the landscape, which is as diverse as its communities.

From the annual horse races in Piazza del Campo, and the age-old, traditional winemaking practices of the Chianti region, to the city of Pisa with its famous leaning tower, Tuscany is a dreamy place where thousands rush to relive its history and draw inspiration from it. But in the world of fashion, Ferragamo and Gucci are also associated with Florence, which inspires their creativity. However, what truly characterizes Tuscany is the timelessness it exudes. It is the masterpieces of art from earlier centuries that still remain “alive” and the feeling that every time you visit, you always learn something new.
