Born in the coastal town of Reggio Calabria in southern Italy, Francesco Smalto knew from his only 14 years that he wanted to serve Style and elegance when he designed and created his first dress. In 1962, he opened his own Fashion House in Paris and became famous among celebrities for his talent and passion for creation. Personalities such as François Mitterrand and King Hassan II of Morocco were only some of the many who trusted the stitches and the talent of the Italian tailor.
